Howdy y'all,
I have had a checkered and varied career...in and out of the pool & spa business, worked for the Army Corps of Engineers as their QA Electrical Inspector, and then began managing luxury properties specializing in large ranch properties before taking a job as a supervisor in the operations and maintenance department at George Washington's Estate and Gardens in Mount Vernon, Virginia. Duties there also included being a member of the fire department and a first responder for employees and guests visiting the estate. Retired from that position in 2015 and then moved back to our adopted home of California. Took a job briefly at Asilomar State Park and Conference Grounds. Officially retired in 2017 and then spent two years drafting plans, going through the permit process and then building a small addition onto our little cottage by the bay. We now have a comfortable pad to grow old in. Met and married a sweet little Japanese girl in 1988...met while I was living in Boulder managing rental properties, and she was attending school at CU's English Learning Center.
