Allen and I met while at CU Boulder and have been married 47 years. Our daughters, Andrea, Keliann and Erika have given us purpose beyond our wildest dreams. Erika passed away leaving us in a tidal wave of grief. Thankfully, our entire family all finally reside in Colorado which allows us to see our 4 grandchildren.
My studies in psychology have afforded me a perspective to thrive in many endeavors. Most importantly, having a daughter with severe OCD proved to be most challenging. Working with children and learning to view the world through their eyes has been extraordinary.
We are anxious to return to travel post COVID. For now we are enjoying a new home in the hills with an abundance of wildlife. Allen retired from careers in structural and civil engineering wondering now how it is that retirement is so much busier than work!
