After a path that led through Colorado College to the University of Wisconsin, I found myself in eastern Indiana teaching at Earlham College. Here I started as a reference librarian, but have now been a professor of art for many years. I teach fiber arts -- lots of weaving, dyeing, stitching, and surface techniques. I've been lucky enough to lead a number of off-campus programs including nine semester-long programs to Kenya and Tanzania, an incredible privilege and a challenge. My husband and I have two grown sons and a long line of much loved labradors.
