I began my teaching career at Lakewood HS and my first graduating class was the class 1970. I could not have started my career at a better school and have the fondest and “craziest” of memories of my first year of teaching. LHS was the most outstanding high school in the district in the day, and I remain proud to have been affiliated for thirteen years. The administration, the staff and the students were outstanding! Many of my LHS colleagues remain close to this day, and get together on a regular basis - even after fifty years. Yes, many of us are still alive.
