I left LHS and went to Western State (Wasted State) in Gunnison with a bunch of LHS friends. After two semesters it was too crazy for me so I dropped out and worked in the ski business for three years then went to Prescott College, AZ for two semesters with Mike Harrison. Finally returned to CU Boulder for degrees in Environmental Studies and Geology. Three summers as an instructor for Colorado Outward Bound School helped me get through. Got married and had a five year detour to Portland, OR and, after divorce, started my career as a geologist in the mining industry. Worked in N and S America, Canada, Mexico, Ecuador, Guyana, Indonesia, Botswana, Australia, Bulgaria. It was great! I'm done. Married and living in Arvada, CO.
